Missouri News Horizon, the Show-Me State’s nonpro!t news service, wants nothing less than to engage people with their government. The way we do it? Thoughtful, timely news coverage of important state issues.

Founded in 2009 and based in the state capital, we deliver unbiased, fact-based news coverage to individuals, organizations, and media outlets throughout Missouri. It’s a vital service at a time when newspapers and other media have cut back in Jefferson City. Our reporters and editors ensure transparency, accountability, context, and clarity regarding the challenges Missourians face.
