Scam Alert from Missouri Department of Labor

Jefferson City, Mo—The Missouri Labor Department’s Division of Employment Security (DES) would like to warn Missouri employers about an imposter, claiming to work for the DES, seeking confidential information about employees. One victim has been reported at this time.

Editor’s Note: Department of Labor director notes an imposter claiming to be Kevin Adams, senior benefit representative at the department, is soliciting information… The scammer is using an email ending in @worker.com and toll-free 866, neither of which is a legitimate labor department contact. The department asks employers who may have encountered the con artist to call 573-751-3328.
